The KAI 7170 is the compact sewing scissors from the professional 7000 series with 6.5 inch (165 mm) blade length. Designed for precise detail work at the sewing machine – when seams need to be trimmed cleanly, cut lines reworked, or quilt details cut, a 9.5-inch scissors offers too much leverage.

The KAI 7000 series was awarded the iF Design Award 2005. The blades extend right into the handles – ensuring maximum cutting stability even at the tip.
