INCOMING INSPECTION
Is resharpening the scissors still worthwhile?
DISASSEMBLY
Disassembly and removal of coarse residues (e.g. resin).
HOLLOW GRINDING (PLIETING)
The grinding pattern on the inside of the scissors is restored.
ASSEMBLY
The scissor blades are reassembled, worn screws and nuts are replaced.
EDGE SHARPENING
The scissor blades are sharpened again.
MICRO-SERRATION
If required, a fresh micro-serration is ground into the scissors.
MOTION CHECK
Verification that the scissors open and close smoothly and evenly.
QUALITY CONTROL
Cutting test on the intended material (also possible with your own material).

CUT TO YOUR NEEDS
We sharpen every pair of scissors so that it fully meets the requirements of the material. For example, your cutting shears, designed to cut a wide variety of materials, can be specifically adjusted to work optimally for upholstery fabrics or leather. In this case, the cutting edge (bevel) is set at a particularly steep angle, allowing the scissors to glide more smoothly and effortlessly through the material.
The same applies to rubber, PVC, and other materials – we give your cutting tool the specialized grind required for each material.
